Having traveled through many of the great European wine regions, Jefferson was passionate about great wine and had a vision of someday cultivating vineyards on American soil. The core of this list is based upon what Thomas Jefferson drank in his time and what he might drink if he were still alive today. Also, within these pages are over fifty different vintages of wine. These vintages impress a quintessential part of a wine's character, whether the wine was bottled yesterday or one hundred yesterday's ago.
